ExxonMobil will continue its investments to increase production and extend operations until 2032 in Block 15 offshore Angola.

This decision was made in accordance with agreement between ExxonMobil and National Agency for Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels of Angola. Also in the frames of this agreement Sonangol will acquire 10% share of the project.

ExxonMobil's offshore production platform in Block 15

After completion of the drilling program, ExxonMobil will implement new infrastructure technology which will allow to increase production by 40,000 barrels of oil per day and will create around 1,000 workplaces for locals, says Hunter Farris, senior V.P. of ExxonMobil Upstream Oil & Gas Company.
